We had six talented—and incredibly imaginative—Bay Area interns join Edulastic in July!

It’s awesome seeing the work each intern is doing from QA to research! We can’t even begin to express how much we value their hard work and insights. (Frankly, we’re blown away).

Like us, they’re passionate about helping students master the Common Core and be both college- and career-ready.

As promised, here are their mini-bios:

Akshay

Akshay is a going to be a senior at Monta Vista High School. This summer he is working on Edulastic’s marketing team to help them expand their product and get Edulastic into the hands of as many teachers as possible. His hobbies include playing sports, cars (check out his blog on cars), and cooking. His favorite book is the Da Vinci Code.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth joins Edulastic this summer to help with QA and Marketing. She is a Palo Alto native who will soon be leaving home to start her Freshman year at MIT. In her free time, she enjoys building robots with her FRC robotics team, The Space Cookies.

Mohan

Mohan is a rising senior at Mission San Jose High School in Fremont. He’s currently working as a Marketing and QA intern at Edulastic. His hobbies include biking & general outdoors-ing, playing the guitar, and building airplane models. His dream car is the Ferrari 458 Spider.

Sagarika

Sagarika is a senior at Lynbrook High School. She hopes to get into UCLA and wants to study engineering and business. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, reading, and watching YouTubers. She also loves a good dose of reality T.V. shows and shows such as ABDC, So You Think You Can Dance.

Sandra

Sandra is rising junior in high school in San Ramon, California. This summer she is a Marketing and QA intern at Edulastic. In her free time she likes to travel, code, and debate. She is also an avid fan of red velvet cupcakes.

Yi Youn

Yi Youn is a senior at Leland High School. At Edulastic, she is working to make the student user experience a bit easier. She’s looking to either pursue a business or law-related career in the future. Extracurriculars and hobbies include journalism, speech and debate, reading, and singing. An avid foodie, she seeks out new eateries and cafés in her free time.
