Edulastic-LogoTwo talented teachers (and ardent edtech enthusiasts) joined Edulastic (& Snapwiz) in July. Having teachers on our team helps us with more than community outreach–they provide us with invaluable insights into the making our solution effective and engaging.

Rob and Rafe have helped us tremendously by sharing their experiential knowledge; using their insights to help guide our design and development process.

They each bring a unique vision for augmenting the classroom and helping teachers with curriculum creation and workflow.

Yet, more importantly, they value the student experience; doing everything they can to improve learning outcomes.

Introducing Rob & Rafe!

Rob Rinsky joins Edulastic after teaching middle school math, science, and technology in Santa Clara County public and private schools.  Rob grew up in Cupertino but ventured south for college–graduating from UCSB with a BA in Global and International Studies. He returned to the Bay Area and worked in the business world for several years, but decided to pursue education to help empower children to become independent, life-long learners. Rob holds Math and Multiple Subject Teaching Credentials and has attended numerous professional development trainings specific to math education. He strongly believes in the power of integrating technology with education and learning.

Rafe Gándola is a Teach For America alumnus with a background in Special Education. Having taught in both charter programs and public schools, Rafe has experienced the full spectrum of learning environments. Spurred on by the disconnect between technology developers and education practitioners, he hopes to bridge the gap by helping create adaptive learning tools.
